This year annual dinner. Food's not bad. But it's not that 'hot' compared to last year. I felt bored Maybe it's the tiredness felt from P1. I don exactly feel happy at all after the company annual dinner. Feel like it's missing something this year. Don exactly know what is it. You guys KNOW a???

wp: Honestly, I believe this is the same feeling felt by all the project side members.
The feeling of 'NO APPRECIATION' for the work we have done. For working like a 'high class bangla', taking care of every single shit coming to our way. I believe only the project members will understand the feeling of dissapointment.
Nonetheless, even though 'ppl' in the office don appreciate us. I have respect for every project personnel working at P1, KLIA, One Borneo and IJN. YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST. Our company would be just a EMPTY SHELL without all of you.
Anyhow, The Annual Dinner can be declared as 'Operation & Maintenance Service' Appreciation Night. We project ppls are just a bunch of so hais sitting there. A lot of dissapointment I would say.
O&M are important. Project are also important. If O&M got award, then should share the award with Project. These type of company dinner are usually to let the staff know that the company boss appreciate their work for the whole year. Personally, i feel that such award are not really useful. Sure, the person that win the award will feel happy that his hard work is being appreciated and maybe he/she really deserves that award. But what about others that do not win any award ? Does that mean the company doesn't appreciate his/her work ? Or is it that his/her work is so bad that he/she does not deserve any awards. For me, only 1 award should be awarded to the staff, and that award i think should go to the best of the best among the staff. That is my personal opinion.

Superman might be unhappy because big boss mentioned O&M department in his speech OR many O&M staffs turn up for the dinner.
You are right about bosses just showing their appreciation but when someone with twisted mind want to interprete it differently, then it's just too bad. I wonder if superman was around when there is a particular year that KJ had "KLCC Appreciation Night" without any annual dinner.
The project department worked very hard and the bosses mentioned about it many times. It's just too bad that the results in terms of $$ wise did not turn out good.
The responsibility lies on certain individual that allow this to happen AND not the entire project team. So please don't throw your frustration to the bosses OR O&M team.
O&M Department is not that great at all!! Target only 6 Mil sales for next year?? Cincai any 1 project also more than that la. Let's buck up and make our project profitable and we will show the bosses that we are the key department in this company.

Why pee one 'not making profit'? Because it is declared so.
I still believe our qaqc is the most sohai one la..hahaha... I do believe for all the sohais that have been through pee one...we learn a thing or two and have become 'better' engineer...or at least more sohai...

We work as we are paid for. If the work is excessive, we can claim the allowance.(We are slave)
