Plan your MC

It sound like crazy, but some of the people can really do it.

If every year you finish your leaves (about 14 days) and your MC (about 18 days). Then include the public holiday (about 20 days). Total of about 52 days of holiday (public, personal and MC) in 1 year, so you only need to work about 4 days a week, 43% of the time you are non productive.

To avoid any lost in productivity, you need to plan our holiday and also MC. But most of the people will try to sick on most busiest day since thinking of it already a mentality sickness, so it is the best time to take MC.

If you are shy guy then you can drink a can or two can of Coke before you go see doctor. Or if you are already use this method too often and try to avoid doctor suspicion that you may have cancel, you can try to tell the doctor you got migraine. Or you can direct tell doctor that you are "sick" and you need MC letter, most of the time the doctor know how to write in the MC.

So remember to plan you holiday and MC cause it is end of the year soon.

Some facts behind the sohai project

1. According to wiki - List of human spaceflights, until 10 Oct 2007, there are total 260 manned spaceflights that reached 100 km or more in altitude, of which 252 reached orbit successfully (sorry for the failure 8).

2. The list of human spaceflights
3. According to wiki-Space tourism the cost to sent a human to space is around US$20M, but we spent RM95M (about US$26M) to sent a sohai to space.

The cost for space tourism now is US$30M and fully booked until 2009. I wonder how many rich man/women in this world. I wish I can visit to space some day.

4. According wiki-Angkasawan program, it is a project under the government-to-government offset agreement through the purchase of Sukhoi SU-30MKM fighter jets for the Royal Malaysian Air Force. Under this agreement the Russian Federation will bear the cost of training of two Malaysians and to send one to the International Space Station (ISS) in October 2007. Why we still pay so much???

5. According to The Age, Malaysia would basically be using foreign space programs as a "taxi service" to transport its angkasawan, gaining nothing of merit.

6. Quoted from The Age -
That's not Malaysia "boleh", that's Malaysia "bodoh" (stupid).

Angkasawan

Today we spent few million RM to bring a sohai to the space. I wish the money can be used for education or research instead of sending a sohai out of the Earth.

What a waste!

Puzzle solved

Now is 6AM in the morning, looking at the monitor, and finally, i'd solved one of the puzzle, the system is in auto mode, everything run according to my schedule. I hope the three juniors can buy me lunch today for making their live more easier. Now they can have more sleep :)

It's a satisfaction looking at my own system working as per my design, although it's never an 100% satisfaction for me. From project to project, I try to build a better system. I called the process as evolution. It's a painful process but that is the only entertainment I have to cheer up myself. At the end of the project, my company loose money (I hope it's not because of me), and my directors are so kind that they come out with their own pocket money and give me bonus. Thanks boss. I'm lucky that I have my working system to motivate me to do better. I hope all my colleague have other motivation to move forward.

My control subcontractor changing their engineer every 2-3 years. Most of their engineers are manager now. I wish I can work in their company. As usual, I repeat and repeat guiding these new faces to build up the system. Although, sometime I don't know how what is the logic behind these young engineers, but it's work at the end after so many stages of painful debugging process. I hope they can read more and play more puzzle games :)
(I miss Voon, he is a very good engineer, but now he is a manager, I hope he don't lost his skill after sitting comfortably in the air-cond room)
